Sture the stork (read the story)Posted by EYE4photo (Hamar, Norway) on 8 December 2008 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio. Not one of my best pictures, but still special! Never has a stork survived a winter in Norway. Sture stork can be the first! If he make it, it will be a sensation. Here at my homeplace it can be down to -32 Celsius / -26 Fahrenheit.Today, it was "only" -11 Celsius / -12 Fahrenheit. Poor Sture, brrrr .... Thanks for taking the time to visit my photoblog and I love to read your comments - I am still feel very new to photography and always want to improve. so all comments and advice gratefully received. Now it has been extremely cold weather the last week, so I am surprised that the bird still alive. He looks quite lonely there out on the ice. :-( 31 Dec 2008 2:22pm |
